The World Health Organization has declared monkeypox a worldwide health concern

After the CORONAVIRUS pandemic, the next big thing is Monkeypox which is now slowly spreading worldwide. Although our country, India, is not yet affected much by the new form of pox, it is an ancient form of viral pox originating from the African country. It is generally transmitted from body touch, saliva, and sexual intimacy, but the good news is that it does not spread through the air; one has to come in contact with the person infected with this virus. It has the smallpox symptoms but is more painful, and the depth of the virus is much stronger, maybe leading to a painful death.

India already had the vaccine for contracting this virus; only it has to be enhanced to make the power stronger, as the smallpox vaccine can be easily used to treat Monkeypox. Already it has spread to the European countries and the American country; in India, only one case came, which is now cured.

But as said, precaution is better than cure, so keeping in mind the high alert from WHO towards Monkeypox, the Indian government is slowly working towards the vaccine. Hopefully, the proper vaccine with extra power will be made very soon.
