France is furious with the US aster AUKUS

Recently US, UK, and Australia have formed an alliance called AUKUS to help Australia strengthen its navy and became one of the powerful entities in the Indian ocean. Due to this recent development, France became furious because Now Australia will be provided with nuclear-powered submarines by the US, which it was going to get from France, and because of this, France will lose around $90B contract.

France felt left out, and French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian publicly called the deal is a “stab in the back.”. He also said that “At the request of the President of the Republic, I have decided to immediately recall our two ambassadors to Australia and the United States to Paris for consultations.”
